Edenbrook Fond du Lac

Not very good. They never gave my mom her lunch. They treated her poorly and she just wasn't happy there. Very disappointed in the staff and service all together.

Overall the stay at Edenbrook was a good experience. It was for physical therapy. The staff was very nice, accommodating and professional. The therapy group was very good and thorough. The food was good. FaciIity was clean and well kept. I would recommend it to anyone.

My mother-in-law was recently admitted to Edenbrook after a fall. Obviously, this has been a stressful time for my family, but one saving grace is that Edenbrook has been wonderful. I have yet to interact with any staff member there, over the course of a month of daily visits, who has been anything but professional, competent, compassionate, and kind. You can tell if people like or dislike their jobs. You can tell if people take pride in what they do, or if it’s only a paycheck. The staff at Edenbrook seem to both enjoy and take pride in their work, AND are good at it. I am a health professional myself, in another state, and I know what a well run (and poorly run) facility looks like. I stayed at Edenbrook for a knee replacement rehabilitation. The nursing staff down to the housekeeping staff were outstanding and professional. My pain management was their priority and I always felt the nursing staff advocated my needs. Physical therapy got me on my feet again to where I felt confident to return home and live independently. I want to also give a shout out to housekeeping! So friendly and personable. They made my day.

I have debated about posting a review but I don't want any family to go through what mine did. I will start by saying the Director of Nursing was the only saving grace and a big advocate of us without her I believe things would have been much worse. My dad was in his final days of life and my family traveled to spend this time loving and being there for him. Edenbrook's director and most of the staff treated us with a very unprofessional disrespectful and unsympathetic attitude. They did everything from stopping us from seeing him threatening to call police to restricting us to a schedule on our time not allowing the door or curtain closed for our family privacy or my dad the privacy who is dying to making us feel like criminals to allowing a family member to yell and harass and intimi
