ECU Health Immediate Care - Tarboro

If you need medical attention on a Saturday, don't even bother going here. Brought my son in to be checked out because our regular urgent care wasn't available and they directed us here since the immediate care sign says they are open until 5 on Saturdays. We got there at 3pm and the receptionist said we would need to go somewhere else because the doctor wasn't seeing anyone else today. At 3. When they close at 5. I could understand if the waiting room was packed but there was literally only one other person in the waiting room. If you don't want to do your front desk job on a Saturday, find a different workplace instead of turning away people who need medical care.

I will NEVER EVER deal with Tarboros walk in clinic again. They act like everyone is an inconvenience. The miscommunication is absolutely ridiculous. Was told to bring my son back Saturday for an antibiotic shot between 8-10 wouldn’t have to wait or anything since it’s just a shot. Then bring him back again Sunday at 1 for the last dose of antibiotics. get here at 9 on Saturday and I’m being told we have to wait (despite being told otherwise at our previous visit) and OF COURSE they are packed. All because the staff failed to communicate with the front desk. The nurse practitioner failed to put the order in so it’s like we never came in the first. Not to mention the lady at the front desk (her name is Virginia) was very rude and even slammed the clipboard down and stated “she didn’t care

We are relocating and I've not established a new PHD but I know where I will be looking. After being told by MainStreet Fam Care by the very sour receptionist, that she didn't think they could help me and referred me to the ER. ER was packed at 6pm with people waiting since noon. Being disabled, I am not physically able to sit for long periods of time so we headed over to ECU Health Immediate Care on Clinic Drive, across from the ER. I was greeted by the nicest receptionist and she had me back with a FNP within minutes. I can't say enough about my treatment from wheeling in the door, seeing the nurse, then the FNP. Too late in the day for labs but was attended to professionally, with kindness and had the feeling that they all actually cared. I will be making this my medical home onc

Please dont go by hours of operation, this facility goes by how many patients the provider wants to see. Please call before you drive there. Highly upset my daughter couldn't be seen.

Fast, friendly, and efficient!!! My husband went in for an infected ingrown hair and was in and out of there in less than an hour! Everyone was very nice. Highly recommend
