ECU Health Immediate Care - Edenton

Today was our second visit to this facility. The staff is always wonderful, from front desk, to nurses and doctors. They are always so kind and work well with my child. Always super quick with getting us back and being seen and with reaching out with test results. We are lucky to have them in our area!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. My only issue is that they don't keep a regular provider on staff or a full time one. There has been multiple times now that have needed to go to them but they had no provider on staff hat day making them useless. And forcing me to go to Elizabeth City instead. Again the time I have been they are a great team but very unstable schedule.

Poor service. I took my daughter for a sick visit within the first 20 hours of becoming sick. She had a sore throat, body aches & a fever of 99. They swabbed her throat and sent us out the door. I was told by Heather, PA she would call me with the results & she never did. I gave my number twice. I had to call & be left on hold to be told by a medical assistant she had a virus & give her DayQuil. I had questions for the PA & wasn’t allowed to talk to her. But ECU Health can collect a $25 copay & bill the insurance company. Very poor service by the PA. She should call her patients because that’s what she said she was going to do. Apparently you should wait 48 hrs to take your child to the doctor.

Where do I start wr just moved to Edenton NC and we’re desperate to find a primary care manager due to wife’s health issues snd Even though this was a urgent care and didn’t have to do it McKayla found us a primary care manager. In town and appointment the same day. She was amazing and she probably doesn’t even know how much she helped. Thank you so much . We will be forever grateful

I am so glad we have this available in Edenton. The staff is much more capable than the short lived urgent care we had before and far better than having to drive to Elizabeth City and wait 2 hours at the urgent care there. The GPs here are so booked up, it is near impossible to get a same day appointment for sick visit. I have been here twice for minor issues with pleasant experiences both times. Immediately taken back by the nurse to check vitals and meds. Seen within 10 minutes by the NP, Heather(?). She is very thorough and obviously had read my history before she came in since she checked me for something in my history that may have caused my issue. I am sure it can get busy during flu season, but I have only ever seen one person in the waiting room. Nice that it is the same co
