Outstanding facility. I was treated kindly as i walked into facility the receptionist greeted me and asked me regular questions about changes in address etc. Very polite in telling me i may sit anywhere i chose and I sat for maybe a tenth of a second when a nurse came to get me. She showed me to a lockerroom for my belongings. Thanks explained my mri procedure and answered questions. Allowed me to settle in before having to start. Its difficult to get comfortable for an mri and have complained in the past at other facilities that a person needs a minute. They were pleasant and friendly. Altogether a great appointment. Thank you for respecting my need for assistance. Highly recommend this Edenton location.

The family birthing center at Chowan Hospital is truly amazing! I delivered my son on 2/4 and it was the most positive experience! The nurses took excellent care of me and my son, we're very knowledgeable and helped my tremendously through my labor and delivery! I cannot say enough about the nurses and staff! Highly highly highly recommend!

The most wonderful medical staff I have ever had the pleasure of knowing in my 78 years. They show love,compassion, and genuine principles of wanting to do everything they can to help the patient. A rare feature in today's society. They are the best. It is as though they are Devinely touched. Thanks so much from the depths of my heart and soul.

I love my experience with ECU Health Chowan Hospital. The staff was very helpful, respectful and loving to me while I was there. They became a family why I was there. I enjoyed it and would recommend that everyone should go there for a colonoscopy or a mammogram. It was a warm aura in the space I was in that the stress level was gone. They even sent me a card in the mail. I love you all for all the kind nutrition you gave me. Very loving people you need when going through a process like a colonoscopy. Thank you all.

The OT and PT teams at ECU Chowan are absolutely fantastic. From registration ( thanks Amanda) to training and instruction ( Karen, Emilie, Adam and Chad) they are all extremely professional, empathetic, and great listeners. A respect of my time was demonstrated by their consistent timeliness at every appointment. Highly recommend.
