Eco Friendly Dentistry

I’ve been a patient here for four years and always had great experiences with the previous owner Dr. Mataria and employees. Unfortunately, that changed this week. I received a confirmation call from ABIGAL, who said the practice was taken over by SONRISA. When I explained I’m only an Invisalign patient, my appointment was abruptly canceled with no explanation of next steps. When I asked how to reach my original doctor, I was given a number and HUNG UP ON — and the number wasn’t even correct. Very disappointing and unprofessional, especially after years as a loyal patient. Absolutely ridiculous!!

Dr. Rami and Benjamin were friendly and professional, which was the ONLY positive part of my visit. The rest of the experience was frustrating and unprofessional. I waited 20 minutes for the doctor and another 30 minutes afterward with no updates. When I asked about my treatment plan, Hadeel said the system was "down." There was no apology, no sense of urgency, and she just said she would "try" to email it later. I still haven't received anything not even a phone call back and it’s been over a week. On top of that, the doctor said I only needed a BASIC cleaning, which my insurance covers, but Hadeel insisted I needed a higher level cleaning that "may" be covered. Totally unprofessional and incompetent. My daughter needed a root canal immediately however I was unable to get off work. When Abigail called to confirm my appointment I asked if my 20yr old daughter could bring my 14yr old and I was told yes. When my daughters arrived they were told AFTER they numbed my daughter’s mouth that the procedure couldn’t be done because I wasn’t there. On top of that I requested the same dentist who did the initial exam do the root canal. The dentist agreed yet it was scheduled with a different dentist. When I called and spoke to Abigail again she hung up in my face. I called back and requested all my daughter’s dental records. This place is unprofessional and don’t have a clue how to run a business.

I am not a person who writes a review, but I must share about this excellent doctor and place. I went to the Eco-Friendly Dentistry to have my crown placed. Doctor Jeferson was very attentive and noticed that I had some hidden cavities. (I had pain in my teeth. I saw two other dentists before him, and nobody told me anything about the cavities). He took X-rays, scanned my mouth, and did a CT scan. His explanation was very clear about my treatment. When he started the treatment, I didn't even feel the anesthesia. His touch was so light. The crown was impossible to notice, perfect color, shape, size, and the most important thing, I didn't have pain. I started going to Eco when they first started on 95th and Western, my entire family. The transition in front office and billing staff has been horrific. I even asked for contact info for Dr. M. to no avail. They need training on customer satisfaction not just how to book and bill. I guess they can afford to lose paying insured patients. UPDATE: Received a text to confirm an appointment in July. I called so I wouldn't get billed and requested to speak with business manager. Still waiting to hear.
