East Tennessee Veterinary Hospital @ Gray

Last weekend, we had a terrible situation where two of my dogs escaped. One did not come back. Out of all the area vets offices that were contacted on the search for them, East Tennessee Veterinary Hospital staff were the only ones who showed concern and care. They were so very kind and went out of their way to be helpful. Unfortunately, our sweet girl was located deceased on I-26, but if not for this office’s update with her location, we may not have received the closure our family needed and been able to lay her to rest here at home. Thank you all for your help during such an emotional time, it has spoken volumes about how much you care about our pets! We will definitely be using this office in the future. Again, thank you for helping us bring our Zelda home. ❤️

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this office. The entire staff take their time with both animal and owner. In our case, they gave a thorough examination, diagnosed the issue(s) and then offered options. Before a suggested procedure was performed, they sent an itemized estimate offering both low end and high end possibilities. The follow-up communication from office visits and/or procedures have also gone above and beyond.

*edited to add an updated photo of the kitten we found, who is now thriving and doing very well thanks to the initial help of this clinic* I have tons of great things to say about this clinic but here is part of our story with two of our three animals that have seen them. My first cat, a 3yr 11mo old Siamese experienced a medical emergency last Friday. He had been having some odd symptoms here and there but overall had been acting himself up until then. Without warning he started vomiting profusely, his head was trembling, he was crying out, constantly moving up and down because he could not get comfortable, and had become lethargic. He also had not eaten his breakfast which was not like him. I took him in to East TN, who had seen him unexpectedly before in 2021, and they took great care

I’m giving this vet 2 stars for the politeness that came from the staff. However I do not recommend this vet. The Dr. that we seen did not advise me of the option I needed to take for my dog to survive instead she pushed meds on my dog when she was not eating or drinking, knowing these were not going to work. They were only interested in getting more money. The next day I ended up having to put my dog down. Im very disappointed in the service and how the this Dr handled this awful situation.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! They are the most loving and caring group that genuinely care about your pets. My sweet pup was very sick the other day and they took up their lunch break to make sure she was taken care of, and they did in fact save her life that day. They never rush or dismiss anything, they make sure you get the help you need each and every time. I am forever grateful for this place and the compassion and love for animals each of the employees have.
