East Main Pharmacy

For the past three year I have been going to East Main Pharmacy in Waterbury for medications for myself. Yesterday I drove 10 minutes to the pharmacy. When I arrived, walked in and asked for the medicine. I was completely ignored when I asked for assistance. After twenty minutes of waiting, the pharmacist approached with an attitude. I gave him the prescription, he turned around look for it. Five minutes later, he brought the meds to me. I went home to take the medicine with a glass of water when I noticed the pills were not the same kind I always take every morning. So I went back to complain because the pills I take very important for my health and I feel like they don't care what happens to me. Great pharmacy. The staff always answers the phone promptly. Other pharmacies keep you waiting and waiting. I love the fact that everything is already ready for me and the process is very quick when I go in to pick up medication. If something happens to not be ready they will get it ready right away. They also contact the Dr when refills are necessary. If something has changed with a medication order they always let me know. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The most friendly and helpful staff. Always answer phone calls right away and get helped as soon as I walk in. Every other pharmacy I’ve used in the past I get put on hold and a 10-30 minute wait in line. They always contact doctors for refills without me having to remind them. They always go above and beyond and always with a good attitude.

Love the attention I get using a local privately owned pharmacy. Every time I call I actually can speak to a person in seconds. Try calling CVS and see if you can get anyone on the phone. The staff at East Main Pharmacy is great, helpful, professional and friendly.

All they care about is money. They didn't fill my prescription and never even calledto tell me why. They never answer the phone. I have not had my medication in two days now. This is critical medication that I depend on for my life and he just t re lls me to call the insurance company. Never even asked if the meds were important or if I would be alright. Do yourself a favor and go to CVS!
