East Haven Nursing And Rehabilitation Center

I give one star to this place because is nothing lower than that. I was there for one night and left the next day.The place is a dump, roaches on the floor, the toilet was dirty and smells really bad, on the bathroom the bathtub was dirty with mold all over it and it had a shower chair that was half inside the tub and half outside very unsafe especially for senior citizens.The food is nasty you better off eating dog food out of a can than what they serve over there and you can see the staff is over work doing multiple tasks. Really I don’t understand how this place stays open. I won’t recommend this place to anyone unless is someone that I hate.

I had a beautiful time staying at East Haven Nursing Home! The recreation department truly exceeded my expectations. I participated in a variety of programs, including ceramics, special events for Nursing Home Week, and daily recreational activities that kept me engaged and entertained. The staff was exceptionally caring and attentive, making my stay even more enjoyable. I also want to extend my gratitude to the maintenance department and the nursing team for their hard work and dedication. This is my second stay at East Haven, and I can confidently recommend it to everyone looking for a supportive and vibrant community. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

My Mom has been at East Haven Rehab and nursing facility for 3 weeks . She had a Bad sore. The staff is amazing : Nurses Flory Christine, Christina , Princess, Frank , Erin, Mr. Chi and Mr. Barett : all treat mom with special care. The Nurses Aides are also wonderful: Nurse Susette and Stella! All the receptionists are professional and friendly : Anaska, Imani, Tanya and Erin. I consider my mom to be my Queen and they all treat her with great respect , compassion and care.The social workers are very attentive to all our questions : Ms. Kayla and Diana. Thank you East Haven ! If her care continues like this, we might keep my queen there for long term care! It is getting difficult to care for her at home 😒 🥰🥰🥰 ! Blessings !

Send your loved ones here if you hate them. This place is disorganized, slow, and sad. It looks and feels like a prison. Even their parrot (very intelligent social creatures) is locked in a tiny cage 24/7 with barely enough room to move. The staff are overworked and exhausted; the nice ones are sharp and the mean ones are unbearable.

My stay was wonderful, the rehab department was excellent. Except the head of rehab. He had an attitude that was real mess up. However Angelo & maresel was excellent they got me on my feet in 3 weeks. Cna Ms. Manza was very good real nice lady. Frank the Nurse was excellent. My stay Was not bad at all except the head of rehab had a real bad attitude. Somebody else should be in that position!
