Dr. Lori Cockley is incredibly gentle, patient, and takes the time to explain every step, so you feel completely comfortable and informed. As someone who used to have dental anxiety, I now actually feel at ease coming here. Dr Tina Taylor has been a welcome addition to the practice. The entire team is welcoming and kind, and the office has a calm, family-friendly atmosphere. We brought both of our kids to the Tongue Tie Center for tongue tie releases with Dr. Cockley, and it made a world of difference for breastfeeding. Before the procedures, we struggled with latch and feeding, but afterward, nursing became so much easier and more comfortable. Beyond the benefits to breastfeeding, I feel a sense of peace knowing my kids’ jaws will develop optimally and they are set up to have good respiratory health, strong language development, and better sleep. Lindsey Mackley was incredibly supportive through this process. My husband and I completed Myofunctional Therapy with Lindsey to prepare us for our own tongue tie releases as well. Both of my sons had their tongue tie released here. For my first he latched right away & It was very Easy healing for him. For my second, it was extremely difficult for him and he didn’t latch for four days Which was super stressful, but with the amazing staff at East Berlin smiles they helped point us in the right direction and give support right away and he is now latching! We come from over an hour away just to see Dr. Cockley because the experience is always amazing. 10/10 recommend getting your treatment here!

As a guy who’s never exactly loved going to the dentist, East Berlin Smiles completely changed my outlook. The team here is top-notch — friendly, skilled, and genuinely caring. The office itself is beautiful, modern, and spotless, and you can’t beat the convenient location with easy parking right out front. Every visit feels smooth and relaxed, and the staff keep things lighthearted while doing truly excellent work. Let’s just say the dental assistant isn’t just sweet and funny — she’s got a brilliant personality that makes the whole experience a lot easier to smile about. I have dental anxiety and spent way too long not going to the dentist meaning now have quite a bit of work to be done. That said, Dr. Cockley and Jess made me incredibly comfortable, laughed and had a conversation, remembered how many kids I had and asked about them and explained everything that was being done. I will never love going to the dentist, but I will recommend East Berlin Smiles every single time someone asks!
