East 174th Street Pharmacy

I visited as an emergency patient and the staff were all very respectful, Lisa was of great help throughout the checking in process and offered exceptional customer/patient service.

This is by far the worst Pharmacy I have ever been to. They used my wife’s diagnosis against her and called her crazy, all three female employees exited from behind their counter and walked behind me as I was walking out. They also told me to tell my wife to come downstairs insinuating that they would fight her. The manager was not even able to control his employees. A business like this does not deserve to be open or serve the public. If I could give this place negative stars I would.

I recently had a deeply frustrating experience at east 174th street pharmacy, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment. From the moment I entered, the staff were unprofessional and rude. I was greeted with an abrupt and dismissive attitude when I asked for assistance, as if my request was an inconvenience. When I sought clarification about a prescription, the pharmacist seemed impatient and uninterested in helping, offering terse responses and showing no effort to ensure I understood the medication properly. To make matters worse, there was no attempt to apologize or address the clear frustration they were causing. I recently visited this pharmacy and was appalled by the behavior of a female pharmacist who directed a racial slur at me during our interaction. Seeking resolution, I immediately reported the incident to the store’s management. Unfortunately, instead of addressing the issue, the manager dismissed my concerns and failed to take any corrective action. This lack of accountability and disregard for customer well-being is deeply concerning. Such conduct, both from the pharmacist and the management, is entirely unacceptable in any establishment, especially one centered on healthcare. I strongly urge higher authorities to intervene and implement necessary measures to prevent future occurrences of such discriminatory and unprofessional behavior. Ridiculous.

They were good at first but I noticed they started messing with my mothers meds and giving me the generic brand and lying saying that the insurance only allows that cheap brand even after I told them I got clearance from her insurance to give her the name brand SMH. They always have an attitude when you ask them questions and as a ex loyal customer, I had to change pharmacies due to lack of compassion when it came to co payment. They charge the insurance full price and pass you the generic brand. Kevin is the manager who has terrible customer service. DON’T GO THERE!!!
