Dumas Family Dentistry

So I am a teeth person….not obsessed but pretty close. I’ve had braces twice and feel like your teeth are one of the most important things on your body. Having good oral care is one of the best qualities a person can have. Having submitted a few reviews for dentistry, we have found a winner. So Dumas Family Dental came highly recommended from a few people in the community. I’ve known about Dr. Dumas for a while because I am a teacher and they have always done outreach and also career day at the schools I’ve worked at. I’ve always loved that they are family orientated, black owned, and overall experts in the field of dentistry. We have been on the hunt for a new dentist. Do not bring your KIDS here!!! The doctor does not know how to inject a numbing needle properly and made me bleed when it was incredibly unnecessary just from the numbing. The doctor (JAY) is cocky and really smart mouthed. He’s very rude and entitled as most doctors usually are. JAY is snappy and sassy. The type of man I hate because they make the process harder than it has to be. This JAY never focuses on one individual patient and can be harmful to the patients. This JAY was aggressive with me and forceful with the numbing for absolutely no reason. He made me incredibly uncomfortable to the point where I was crying from fear. DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE IM SURE THERES OTHER CLINICS THAT WILL PROPERLY TAKE CARE OF PATIENTS!!!!!!!

Great service at a great price and super close to our home. Dr is very knowledgeable.

My experience at J Dumas Dentist is always the same staff very knowledgeable respectful and work I have done over there has been exceptional would recommend to anyone in need of a referral to a Dentist.

Once was a very friendly place and I use to enjoy my visits here. Now everything just feels like it’s strictly business. My husband went once and told me to find him another dental office. I stayed because I never had a problem until I noticed different changes in staff. The staff now is serious and unwelcoming. I don’t get the same vibe anymore and I’ve been visiting every six months for almost 3 years now. I don’t know. Maybe it's just me but it's not the same. I like spending my money where I feel welcomed and not having to feel like I'm just another number or transaction.
