Customer Reviews
I’ve had such a positive experience at this office. The staff is always welcoming, professional, and attentive. My physician takes the time to truly listen, explain things clearly, and make me feel cared for as a person—not just a patient. Scheduling is smooth, and I never feel rushed during my visits. I really appreciate the combination of professionalism and genuine compassion. Highly recommend this office for anyone looking for excellent primary care with a personal touch.
They assumed my illness was allergies- turns out I had a resting bpm of 136 and the visit ended in me being recommended to go to ER for fluids and a white blood cell pannel after being gaslight for two hours that I was overreacting. When asked if something hurt during a physical exam, the doctor raised his voice at me for not responding yes or no- but instead using a silly metaphor with the point being it did really hurt. I sobbed in the room because I felt so belittled and unheard. Whenever I put my dad on the phone, the doctors demeanor and tone of voice completely changed. Suddenly he had patience, understanding, and a listening ear whenever it wasn’t a young girl he was speaking to. This isn’t the first bad experience I’ve had here- if you’re a woman they blame you not being on birt
If you are looking for a new primary care location and hoping this will be different, keep looking. Don't be fooled by the Duke name, you will find the same unprofessional staff that doesn't want to be at their job. While I like my provider, and find her more than competent, that is not really who you end up dealing with. You are met with rude front desk staff, rude and disinterested CMAs, and rude lab staff. If you message your provider, it gets triaged, and they may never even see it. If they do, it will be at least a week later. Completely unsatisfied and moving on!
Received flyer in the mail to establish new primary care at their location. Tried online, they only have one provider accepting new adult clients and no appointments until 3+ months from now. Frustrating to waste my time trying when they were the ones soliciting new clients while having no availability.
Alicen Gillis and Brooke are great providers. Alicen truly listens to anything I’ve had concerns with. And as someone who has been gaslit by providers before, I feel safe when I have my appointments.
