Duke Cardiology of Raleigh

Well, no customer service at Duke yet another office had gone to the dumps. What used to be pleasant is now horrible. Multiple appoinments...have to check in on the screen and answer the same questions over and over. Also at the end of payment requested for.visit, even tough monitor says check with recipionist for copy..... they want to you do that at the end of your appointment. Chamge the computers, dont ask my name if you want to go to a platform.of no human interaction... and bless the older gentleman that could not read or write... he even told the lady...it was not good practice.. Robots is where we are headed...

*It is VERY bright in the rooms. If you are photosensitive or get migraines bring sunglasses! Front desk staff are amongst the best I've ever met. Dr Upadhaya knew about my issues and was able to give me tips about my syncope that my previous cardiologist didn't. She took time to learn my habits which are usually the opposite of someone with my condition. (Life long weight lifter and runner with a very clean diet). She clearly explained the changes I need. Quickly knew the referrals I need for electrophysiology, which I've been trying to get my old cardiologist to send me to for years. Nurse was very rushed. Unfortunately this office is not immune to the over scheduling problem we have in America right now.

I have been treated with kindness and understanding by Dr Upadhaya and the staff here during my visits and tests. I’m pretty new to heart problems. My only suggestion is that the doctor explain the procedures and purposes of the tests she is ordering so that I know why I’m taking them and what to expect. This was explained to me at the time of the tests, but I wanted to know what they were for at the begining during the first consultation. so I didn’t wonder if I was just a cash-cow to pay for expensive machines. The office is comfy, pretty, spotlessly clean and the staff are so nice! This was my second experience with the office after my first wonderful doctor retired. I feel safe and cared for here. Parking is quick and easy too. Altho results of the tests are up on the web very quickly,

My father was a patient. He received top notch care from Dr. Mills and staff. Because of the excellent care given, we had more than 10 years beyond what we should have. I can't say enough wonderful things about Duke Cardiology and Dr. Mills. My father and our family had complete trust in the care given. Thank you all so graciously for the care you gave my dad.

My mother is on her 4 th provider in this building. She is 70 years old and has been without a vital medication for over a week. Despite her seeing dr masuda twice the provider she saw almost 2 years ago is listed. The pharmacy keeps facing the request the medical assistant’s state daily it will be sent. This is truly sad & effecting my moms health greatly. Idk if i need yo contact hippa, the board of health, the medical board or jesus himself to get my moms medicine.
