Duane Reade Pharmacy

One of the worst Duane Reade pharmacy in the area. God forbid if you have any emergency medicine do not have this location as your primary pickup. The staff including the pharmacist is super inefficient and lazy. Searching for every single prescription takes them forever. If not half the time their systems are down and the staff is rude and not helpful at all. Hopefully someone can complain to Duane Reade Corporate about how this location is being operated.

Scheduled a vaccine here, went to appointment, checked in through the QR code and waited a while for someone to call. When no one came, I went to the consultation who sent me to front desk who (after another wait) told me they don’t offer the vaccine there. Their online system is broken and pharmacy is inefficient

Tried to get a flu shot here. For some reason they wanted an appointment. For some reason the appointment had to be made two days in advance. Then when I showed up they said "sorry, our internet is down so we can't give you your flu shot." I don't understand what part of a flu shot requires internet access. I waited another day and they still had no internet. So I went to CVS and they took me as a walk-in and did the whole thing in five minutes. Next time I need a vaccine I won't waste my time here.

I went to get a vaccine. The pharmacist lady who looked middle eastern was not competent enough to process my insurance and on top of that she was rude. Went to CVS in Target where they told me vaccine WAS covered by my insurance. Maybe they need to get people who can do their job. -1 for rudeness -2 for not being able to process insurance for vaccines. CVS in target also looks much cleaner :).

The staff is very helpful, made me Walgreens member. One thing they made mistake is with my Name.
