Stephen and Melinda I have followed you for over 10 years now! They are the best kindest, most talented and thoughtful acupuncturists and healers I have ever known. Stephen and Melinda literally have saved my life. Not only have they helped me with my various medical issues and surgeries but they have also helped me with my PTSD symptoms. They are committed to your body, mind and spirit healing simultaneously. Now that they have grown their staff, they are more able to accommodate a wider community. I am so very grateful to Dragon Rises and their whole staff!

Receiving care at Dragon Rises Center for Wholeness has been a life changing and life affirming experience. There were some ways that western medicine and traditional talk therapy never quite worked for me, and I found the integrative care from Stephen and Melinda to be the missing piece. Time and time again I'm in awe of the ways a single treatment is able to incorporate physical, mental, emotional and spiritual conditions. I leave my appointments more energized, more understanding and more connected to myself each week. All of the practitioners here are lovely, and if you're looking for acupuncture, Chinese medicine, or just something different than western medicine, I highly recommend Dragon Rises!

Classes: I have attended two seminars regarding pulse diagnosis here. Melinda and Stephen make efforts to meet students where they are at. Despite my taking of an intermediate seminar prior to their introductory seminar, they still assisted me on an individual level. They did this while still managing to stay on target with their intended curriculum. I appreciated their teamwork and real-time adjustments to the students as well as their understanding of the material. I chose this introductory seminar due to the care they took to meet me as a beginner during the intermediate seminar. If you’re like me, you may not know a ton about the practice of acupuncture. What brought me to the doorstep of Dragon Rising was a condition that Western Medicine did not have an answer for. But what I have walked out with, time and time again from each appointment with my provider, is a better and broader understanding of what it means to have an engaged whole-body healer on my side. I feel heard and understood on a level I haven’t experienced before receiving acupuncture. The vibe around the space is a combination inviting and acceptance for any way that you arrived.
