I was a patient at Downtown Brooklyn Nursing and Rehabilitation Center from January 2, 2026 through February 16, 2026, and I had a very positive experience during my stay. From the moment I arrived on 3 North, the staff made me feel comfortable and supported. The nursing team was attentive, responsive, and professional. The facility was clean, organized, and well-maintained, which made a big difference during my recovery. I especially want to recognize my therapist, Simon, who worked with me consistently throughout my stay. Simon was patient, encouraging, and truly invested in my progress. He pushed me when I needed it, but always in a supportive way. Because of his dedication and guidance, I made significant improvements and felt confident when it was time for discharge on 2/16/2026. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this nursing home. While the building itself may look decent on the surface, the overall management and administration completely overshadow any positives. The administrators were very rude, dismissive, and cut off during every interaction. Whenever I tried to ask questions about care, policies, or my loved one’s well-being, I was interrupted or spoken to in a condescending tone. It felt like they were more concerned about ending the conversation than actually addressing concerns. There was no warmth, no empathy, and no professionalism — just a cold, rushed attitude. If you ever need PT try hard to get Nidhi. She not only give you therapy but also give you the encouragement you need with your rehab. I just want to express how happy I am that Nidhi is my PT and how good she is with my rehab. She is the greatest and amazing.
