Great visit. Dr. Bessette examined my toe and told me to continue doing what I was doing . He told me what to watch out for and to come back if there were any concerns. Put my mind at ease and I totally recommend.

I am very disappointed with the care I received at this facility. At just 23 years old, I was told I had posterior tibial tendonitis without a clear explanation or cause. The evaluation consisted only of a visual inspection and an x-ray. No MRI or further imaging was suggested. I was placed in a walking boot, which I later found out I was kept in too long. I was told to wait it out. Nearly six months later, I am still experiencing severe pain with no progress, despite attending physical therapy (treated for the wrong injury). I’ve invested a great deal of time, money, and effort without any real answers or improvement. Fortunately, I took it upon myself to seek a second opinion elsewhere. Within a day, I received an MRI and discovered I had both partial and full ligament tears in my ankle,

I had been chasing around an extremely severe ingrown toenail for nearly a year; seeing multiple doctors, being ghosted by a different foot specialist, and getting next to no help. When I called and was told appointments were being booked about 2 months out as there was only one doctor there I was disappointed that I still had longer to wait, but it was 100% worth it. The doctor had my toe completely numb and toenail removed in less time then I spent at any other appointments. I went from being in so much pain I had a hard time walking or even wearing socks/shoes, to being pain free walking out of there, even when the numbing wore off. Him and the rest of the staff were so nice, definitely recommend going here!

Dr. Bessette addressed all of my concerns and provided me with recommendations needed to resolve why i sought care at this facility. I am optimistic that his advice will provide me with long term symptom relief.

I can't say enough about the great care I received from Dover Foot Specialty Center. From start to finish they were professional, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. I felt well taken care of and left feeling confident that I was on the right path to wellness.
