I've been going to a couple of the big optometrist offices in Spokane for years. I have tendency toward double vision and they kept subscribing thicker and thicker lenses over the years to correct it. Went to Dr. Lyman and he told me there was a reliable surgery to fix it and referred me to a surgeon as well as worked with that doctor on my behalf. Had the surgery, it was easier than expected and what a difference it made! No other optometrist ever even mentioned it as a possibility. He even seems to take more time on normal visits the get the prescription right.

I have been seeing Dr. Lyman for over 10 years and am dreading the day he decdes to retire. He is extremely professional yet is also quite personable. As fast as technology has changed the way eye exams are conducted he has kept on top of it and implented changes in his practice. All over a great optometrist and a great person

They were great until I asked why they were so much more than other costcos. My question was simply out of curiousuty yet they got immediately rude with me. Their answer was we can charge what we'd like since we are an independent practice. Which is all fine and dandy. It was the immediate attitude I had a problem with. And secondly, I was lied to about when my trial pair of contacts would be in. I was told a couple days but am now waiting a week. When I told them that I was told 2 days, the last I spoke to basically told me I was never told that and I was making it up. Just plain rude all around from the start of my experience to the end.

Great eye doctor. Caring. He can answer any question since he has so many years of experience. Highly reccomend:).
