Douglas Veterinary Clinic

This clinic is absolutely unbelievable. Let’s just start from the beginning. When i was a kid we had a family dog named Obey, he was very sick and dying and this clinic didn’t bother to answer my mothers phone calls to get him in and they kept turning her/obey away. A few days later my mom tried again and thankfully Brittany(the actual vet), i believe is her name, answered and got him in immediately and actually cared. Fast forward to now. I had gotten a puppy and needed to get her shots. I called them and they said they weren’t accepting any new patients. I called multiple times and it was the same answer everytime but most of the time they wouldn’t even bother to pick up the phone. Luckily i called one last time and again Brittany (i think is her name ) answered and right away got me an

My dog, a current patient of theirs, was literally DYING and they refused to answer their emergency line. I left a frantic voicemail & called their "emergency" number more than once. They NEVER even bothered to call me back. They truly do not care about animals, even if your pet is a current patient of theirs. Do not waste your time or money with these people.

Every time I’ve taken my fur baby I am impressed at how much everyone there cares about her. Prices are very reasonable!!

Had a very sick kitten and this place was only vet open on Saturday. They said they don’t take emergencies and turned us away! They should have been more caring 🤬 She died two weeks later!

Thank you Douglas and your wife for doing all you did today for help trying to save my dog's life .being out of town not knowing where to turn it. Sure was a blessing to have you in time of need. Salem is blessed to have you in their town.
