Dorminy Medical Center

Doctors and nurses don’t care about the patients. I went in with a broke foot and was told it was arthritis. He also said I got pain medicine every month which was weird because that’s the first thing the doctor said when he said. I don’t receive a pain meds and he to “double check”. To the doctors surprise he was wrong. There is no urgency and compassion at the emergency room. They all need training or the hospital needs to consider replacing the emergency room staff. People go to the emergency room for emergencies and to experience everything put compassionate treatment is unacceptable.

My auntie loves her some Dr. Curtis! And that's saying a lot. She got my aunt's A1C from 11 to 6 and that's a miracle in itself. God bless the doctors and the nurses.

THIS IS THE WORST HOSPITAL I'VE EVER BEEN TO!! My Mother visited this ER in complete pain with slight numbness, could not be seen right away. We thought she was having a heart attack.They let in two patients that came in 20 min after she did, with less of an emergency, and this experience caused my Mom to drive to another hospital 30 min away. As a patient, I believe people that are sickly or possibly near death are certainly entitled to care that is respectful, timely, and professional, but unfortunately that did not occur here at Dorminy Med.

I only give DMC a star because at least one is required to post a review. The emergency room is not actually for emergencies. This hospital is a bandaid station only. There are no specialties there. If you are in a cardiac situation, a respiratory situation or an orthopedic situation you must be transferred and it won’t be fast. You will more than likely be discharged to follow up somewhere else or die. I can’t think of a single time when this facility appropriately managed a Healthcare situation, not even if my life depended on it.

I had to be admitted last week. I had an amazing experience from every department within the hospital. The ER dr was quick & very attentive, the hospitalists were excellent at treating my diagnosis. Not only was I cared for as a patient my husband was also treated very well, as my caregiver. Way to go DMC.
