Donald W. Lumpkin, O.D.

I took my father of 90 to Dr. Donald Lumpkin, OD. At the same time I was having trouble with my own eye site. Accompanying my dad into the exam room I sat and watched the doctor walk through his exam. While working with my dad he asked if I was also here for an exam. Surprised, I asked him why he was asking me about my eye site? Continuing I asked him if he could tell something was visibly wrong with my eyes. He told me he could see that my right eye was probably causing double vision. The doctor was spot on with his assessment. Dr. Lumpkin referred me to a Dr. Metz, M.D. a child specialist for vision issues such as mine. So, I made an appointment was assessed for needed eye surgery. I had the surgery which corrected part of my problem the rest of my issue was treated with bifoca

All three of my children see Dr. Lumpkin. He has been great! His staff has taught each of them to use and care for contact lenses. They have all been so helpful. Will definitely continue to see him.

Dr. Lumpkin is the absolute BEST! He is thorough, patient, and kind. If I could give him a higher rating, I would!
