What a warm and welcoming place. Very efficient. I was particularly struck by the kindness and attention to detail I received from the physician's assistant: Emily G. It was my first time at that location and she got me through the process quickly. I have anxiety over needles, but she was able to put my mind at easy by carefully distracting me and finishing the blood draw before I knew it. Kudos. The physician was also very kind and generous with his time, answering all my questions. For anyone thinking about making a switch, I highly recommend the Monterrey office.

Monterey Doctors on Duty is the best. They are my primary doctor. I get in same day. Just go check in. Then they will text you when you need to be back .. Everyone from the front to the back is amazing. Appreciate them.

It’s always lovely to see Dr. Melkus. She’s so nice and understanding. I always look forward to seeing her, it feels like talking to a friend versus a doctor. I don’t feel intimidated or self conscious about what I’m saying or feeling. She makes me feel very comfortable at all times!

This is the second time I’ve called this week to call back for results for a swab done on my son. The system does an automated hold placement and no one picked it up the first time was for 56min hold and the second I was sure to screen record for proof of this neglectful behavior. Not a single person picked up the phone and said a word. How disgusting of an office can you be to allow someone to be on hold for a HOUR.

I was injured at work two years ago. At first I saw an MD for my shoulder injury. After about three visits, he left and my care was transferred to an MA who I only saw on video. She became upset as I pushed back against the mediocre care that I was getting. The insurance company never sent a complete set of records, so she relied on the insurance company - who never called her- a the dishonest, incompetent and lazy RN case manager. I had surgery last year which failed. The third MRI showed a labral tear. As I tried to advocate for myself the MA became defensive and told me “that I should be glad I got a referral for surgery consult after a month.” She threatened to send me back to work with no restrictions. This is medical malpractice and negligence. She is unlicensed and has never examine
