DOCS Urgent Care & Primary Care - New Milford

Took forever to get me to the back and there was only 2 of us in waiting room. Once in treatment room was still taking forever so my fiancé decided to check. Turns out they forget I was there. The visit was done via tele which I was not informed when I checked in, I would have left at that point. Worst part was the equipment needed for caregivers assesment was not working. How can she determine what my diagnosis is based only on verbal symptoms. The only vitals taken was temperature, 02 sat, and heart rate. Is blood pressure not apart of vitals anymore? Very disappointed... Working as an ER RN, I know better not to go to ER unless I'm dying but going to an Urgent Care that has no in house care is a definite NO for me. I had a telehealth video call today with Michelle Tolbert because I still have a cold and didn’t want to go to DOCS New Milford in person. Michelle thoroughly explained the results of my latest bloodwork and reviewed my general health by asking appropriate questions. Her knowledge is always complete and her “bedside manner” couldn’t be more warm and friendly. Victoria at the front desk was also friendly and helpful when she called to make my future appointment a few minutes after I was finished with Michelle.

Terribly long wait (it was New Year’s Eve) and computer system was not working properly. Patients could not finish checking in online without the help of an assistant - very tedious. The staff was simply wonderful and comforting although they too, were distressed. The NURSE/APRN/ PA ( ?) was also terrific. She was calm, professional, very informative and caring. After the testing was completed, the DOCTOR appeared digitally and further explained the results and treatment. I would say that the knowledge, concern, calmness and attitude of the staff evaporated the distress of the wait and I left a satisfied and informed patient. Excellent individuals- kudos.

I had an absolutely incredible experience at DOC Urgent Care in New Milford today! I went in for an EKG, and from start to finish the entire visit was seamless, professional, and genuinely caring. Anna at the front desk was outstanding — she made check-in effortless, clearly explained everything about payment and paperwork, and set such a welcoming tone from the moment I walked in. Jad, who prepped me and performed my EKG, was truly the best of the best. He was professional, kind, and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the process. Took a couple attempts to get a physical scheduled as they kept needing to reschedule my appointment, but 3rd time was the charm. Wait time wasn’t too long during the appt and bloodwork was quick and mostly painless. All the staff, including Dr. Tolbert were exceptionally friendly and professional.
