Doc's Drug Store of Early

For a local pharmacy, I would not recommend this one. On numerous occasions, I have received a prescription that was filled incorrectly and told it wouldn't happen again. And it happened again. I question the quality of the medications they dispense and have be told on multiple occasions my medication was short dated and would expire before the labeled date. Not to mention nearly EVERY prescription I receive has a "this medication may look different sticker on it." When using other pharmacies, I never have that trouble. Pharmacy is suppose to be a TRUSTED profession. I truly believe in supporting local businesses, but when it comes to this one I would not.

This pharmacy doesn’t put their customers first. If you’ve had the same customer for 5+ years, who gets the same prescriptions every single month, why would you not make sure those meds were in stock???!! Especially if those meds, if not filled correctly and on time, could send a patient to the hospital. This happens almost monthly to husband. For instance, meds were called in Friday morning at 10:00. They were to be filled Saturday. They never got filled. He finally called Monday. This is when they informed him they didn’t have any in stock and the prescription would not be filled until Tuesday. SERIOUSLY!!! 3 days pass the due date. Why didn’t they get ordered Friday? Thank the Lord we are used to Docs not caring and planned for it by taking fewer than prescribed. This has been a miserab

If you’re looking for small town hospitality, pharmacists and techs who want to help, staff who have your best interest at heart - go to JACOBS pharmacy. I gave the lady at the window at two stars because she is very kind but the tech who works most of time is very uncaring of her customers and the pharmacist might as well be a ghost for how little you see or interact with him. The tech sets the tone and she is not what you expect for a small town pharmacy.

I’m from out of town I own a construction siding company. Happened to be working at the new built of Petco across the street from this place. I decided to go in and check it out cause notice café in front. Thought I grab a bite of whatever. Well I go in and not one single person of the three people I saw working there not even the one at the cash register bother to acknowledge me or give me anytime of day for that matter, so I left. Definitely need some work on manners and customer service here. I alway thought small towns had the sweetest people! FYI I was the only customer in there at the time and no one in the drive-through either.

Love both Doc's Drug Stores in Early and Brownwood. Have only had one problem. I called and ordered two renewals. When my husband picked them up the next day the wrong prescription were refilled. My husband heard me order, and give the the numbers on the bottles. I needed one of the scripts that day so we had to wait. We vowed if the make another silly mistake like this, we will go back to the Brownwood store. The Early store is closer to the in town business we do once a week. We live 20 miles north of town. PS: Their fudge is awesome!
