DMC Primary Care

I have been a patient at DMC since moving to Derry 4 years ago. I see Jenna Clark, NP. I normally don’t leave reviews, however, Jenna is incredible. Her bedside manner and way of remembering me and what I have told her far sets her aside from any other provider I’ve seen. She is informative and empathetic. I absolutely recommend her for anyone in need of a pcp. I hope she never leaves this practice, if she does, I’m following her! Very grateful I have found such an amazing physician.

For years, I remained a patient at DMC despite mounting concerns because my individual providers were generally competent. That loyalty has been exhausted. The pattern of errors, negligence, and systemic failure at this facility is unacceptable, and quite frankly, alarming. Medications have been sent to the wrong pharmacy repeatedly. I have been given incorrect medications. I have arrived for scheduled appointments only to discover, without notice, that the physician had left early, wasting my time entirely. I have been contacted with other patients’ lab results, a serious breach of privacy and safety. This is not a reflection of the doctors, but of the medical center in general. After 2 visits and trying to get established as a new patient, we will be looking elsewhere for a PCP. This medical center does not feel child friendly or understanding of special needs differences, giving judgmental looks and rude remarks. I filled out a dozen papers online for each of my family members to begin care, and I guess it was all lost because they wanted me to redo everything including making new patient portals when I already did so. They wanted my daughter to have labs done. Quest diagnostics was unable to perform it. I asked DMC to fax lab orders to Boston Children’s. Instead, DMC told me to pick up the paper at the front desk. Incredibly, incredibly rude and unprofessional staff! Doctors are NOT flexible in situations of medication shortages. They are willing to let you run out of medication, when they can easily rewrite the script for two 10mg pills of the SAME medication because all pharmacies are out of the 20mg version. There are only so many pharmacies you can call… it has take me hours to get through pharmacy promps, wait on hold, then wait on hold with DMC over and over, only to be told to keep trying to call more pharmacies.

This is not a reflection of my personal dr but rather DMC as a whole. I would NOT recommend this practice to anyone. They have gotten way too big, they do not care about patients. Things will “get over looked”, referrals never get sent out, and if you’re expecting “a call back” forget about it cause that’s not happening either. Also random “bills” get sent to me regularly??? I pay every visit. I Used to like Dmc, All this place cares about is money now.
