DMC Primary Care at Dover

I switch primary care providers due to insurance coverage and Michelle was so helpful! She was polite and kind, and when she had to put me on a hold, she gave me warning beforehand and apologized afterwards. She worked with me to make sure I would see the provider I requested, and was very flexible when jumping between calendars.

Dr. Mellow (Dover office) was extremely empathetic and kind. I would say she is probably the best primary care doctor I've seen in my adulthood. Dr. Mellow made eye contact with me and listened attentively while I talked and when she was taking notes on my various issues she would summarize and repeat what I said to ensure that she had recorded the most accurate retelling of my stories. She then addressed every concern one by one and made sure to refer me to the appropriate specialists. I would recommend Dr. Mellow to anyone. If you are in need of a new primary care doc, she's the one. I was super happy to find my former primary care from Salmon Falls Family had found a place (DMC) to continue caring for patients. I think Leah is a wonderful PA. Roberta has been the medical assistant that I've worked with for many, many years now. I think Leah and Roberta are a great team!! I have found the staff that I call into at the office to be very helpful and friendly. Finding staff that actually listen to the patient and what the issue, problem, or question is, is becoming rare. But, so far at DMC, I feel very listened to and that is half of the battle at some places. I am enjoying my experience at Derry Medical Center in Dover, NH.

Initial experiences were excellent accepting my Federal OWCP case work comp. Did some prep on my own to get billing dept to approve and pre check coverage. Got a referral to Pain Doctor Dr. Hsu. who is in their office and was a part of the group. Then they separated from each other though share space and personnel. Billing though it seems to be part of Dr. Hsu and they have their own people was still being handled by DMC. Arlene at DMC more helpful than Dr. Hsu. The same procedures and codes that had been accepted by USDOL and paid suddenly had an issue and so I got an inbox a surprise bill $675. from Sean Specialty Institute LLC not itemized not explained due to the denied submissions. Kelsey Mellow Is absolutely amazing, the issue is with getting in touch with anyone over the phone who’s reliable I have called on two different occasions to try and get my pharmacy changed and both times they were sent to the old pharmacy that I don’t want to use any longer due to insurance change. They did reach out here so changed rating and will update based on that interaction
