District Dental

Very long story short: I will fly to Houston for this dentist office if I have to! I was in Austin over a long holiday weekend and a tooth ache went from tolerable to painful. I visited two well rated local dentist to see if the problem was minor and could be put off or fixed. Dentist A - claimed they don’t see any issues, but said I would need a root canal and gave me a large time and $$$ estimate. No meds for the wait until they can repair… Dentist B - said they don’t see any issues, and referred me to a specialist to have a root canal. She also said the tooth was dead, and could not explain why a dead tooth hurts… I held out for District dental, and the staff made arrangements to see me asap due to my pain. This dental office in the Houston Heights area is a true hidden gem. The team and location is well established for all family dentistry. Dr. Villasenor has an amazing bed side manner always making sure I am comfortable during my dental procedures. The hygienist, Summer, always makes my teeth feel the best after a dental cleaning. Dr. “V” and the entire District Dental Team are the greatest! Totally professional, efficient and well organized, yet at the same time very friendly and pleasant. They’ve created a pleasant yet professional atmosphere which is calm and relaxing, which you don’t often experience in a Dental office. Also, because they’re so efficient and effective they don’t need to engage in “fee packing” - charging for every little thing, including cotton swabs, which is a rarity in this day and age. I tell all my friends about how great they are! Thank you, Dr. V, and you entire team. Keep doing what you’re doing!

The experience from start to finish at this dental practice was truly exceptional—they are busy for a reason! Jamie was very attentive and responsive when I called to schedule, going above and beyond to fit me in! Sabrina was incredibly kind, gentle and had the best energy doing my cleaning and imaging! She also did a great job of explaining the scope of my services and made thoughtful recommendations. Dennis did a phenomenal, detailed job cleaning out an old crown & Lorena was also very friendly and helpful. And of course Dr. V is the best dentist I’ve seen hands down. His demeanor and knowledge make for a comfortable, easy visit which is normally anxiety-filled!!! 10/10 recommend and wouldn’t go anywhere else for my dental needs!
