Disc Spine Sport and Stem Cell - Dr. Brent Kimball

I have had 2 procedures done with Dr Kimball and I cannot say more incredible things not only about him, but his entire staff. From check in to PAs to scheduling-every person I have interacted with has made me feel comfortable, informed, and welcomed. Dr Kimball’s knowledge about total disc replacements is top notch and he has trained directly under the doctors in Germany who created the protocol. I am so grateful to have such a knowledgeable and experienced neurosurgeon in this specialty right in my backyard. My father has been so impressed that he may be considering flying cross country to get the same procedure done! I Included photos of their prototype of the prodisc they showed me during consults!

Dr. Kimball and the staff are wonderful. I had surgery to help alleviate some terrible back pain and sciatica down my right leg due to a herniated L5-S1 disc. I can’t say enough about how much the procedure has helped my quality of life. I had not actually met Dr. Kimble until the day of my surgery so I was a little weary of the procedure, but the staff and doc were incredibly thorough and welcoming. All follow up and post surgery visits were excellent as well. Highly suggest Dr. Kimble and this team, much thanks to all!

My journey started in July of 2024, with acute nerve pain in my lower back and numbness in my leg. DSSS got me in right away, and worked with me to manage pain while diagnosing the root of my problem. Dr Kimball was always available to me, in addition to PA Jadon Redington, to answer my questions and help me make an informed decision regarding treatment. Once decided, Dr Kimball et al addressed 3 areas in my lumbar spine surgically: a fusion, disc replacement and stem cell injections. I am 4 1/2 weeks post op, and while recovery is slow, I am supported and guided by the whole DSSS team every step of the way. A special thank you to Lisa, Anna and Kim who also assisted with all the administrative components of health insurance and short term leave paperwork. The whole staff was helpful

My first visit here, I met with a PA who told me I needed a disc replacement asap. I scheduled the surgery for a week from then and was told their scheduler would submit it to my insurance as urgent/expedited and I would be cleared by that Friday. Friday, I called my insurance and was told that the office didn’t send any of my info until 5 days after my visit, and that they did not submit it as urgent. I got a call from the surgeon’s office saying they cancelled my surgery and would have to reschedule for 6 weeks later. The office closed for the weekend and they do not have a voicemail or after hours number to call for any reason. I was panicked and was losing strength in my arms and had the worst headaches I’ve ever had. I sent multiple messages in their portal and emails to any address

I had 3 cervical disks (c4-c7) replaced by Dr. Kimball. It was truly a life-saving experience. The procedure went flawlessly, and the recovery was short (two weeks) and easy. Dr. Kimball had to work very hard to get my insurance to approve the surgery and I am forever grateful for the effort he put in. The entire staff, especially Sean, were wonderful to work with and very professional. I feel so fortunate to have been treated by them. I highly recommend Dr. Kimball and his staff.
