Dilworth Drug & Wellness Center

Dilworth Drug & Wellness has apparently NOT closed. However, they are no longer providing any retail services of note, including filling retail or insurance prescriptions. According to notice posted on the door today 4/11, they stopped filling customer prescriptions as of 4/7 and transferred all customers info to a nearby Harris Teeter Pharmacy as of 4/8. As a customer with several prescriptions on file, I received no information about this business model change (switch to ONLY compounding and wellness services) prior to visiting the store today. I decided to go there as no phones were being answered and rumors of them being closed were circulating. After making the unnecessary trip, I received identical SMS text messages at 2pm and 6:30pm announcing the new operating status and new phone

The pharmacists and staff here are top notch. They are always pleasant and professional, eager to answer any questions I may have. This pharmacy is not the closest compounding pharmacy near me, but I choose to travel across town because of the incredible service.

The most wonderful people work here. I was having trouble filling a prescription somewhere else and they helped to fill it. Unfortunately, it was pretty far away and I ended up finding a place a little closer. But the people here at Dilworth helped me transfer it out to the other pharmacy with the same patience and grace as if I were still their customer. They reassured me that if I were still to have any issues at the new place, they would still be happy to assist. This place and the people in it are nothing short of exceptional. Highly recommend to anyone.

I have been with Dilworth Drug since the beginning and it has never failed me in showing consistency in quality service. Ross, one the pharmacists, has been amazing to work with. He shows a true concern for his clients and has always been willing to go the extra mile. He has been such a huge help for us recently with our daughter and for that we are so very thankful! I’m so pleased that we decided to stop going to a chain pharmacy where we always received poor service, and come here instead. I had a script sent here and they called me since I wasn’t in their system, they provided good information and filled the script promptly. When I picked up they were very pleasant. We will definitely be back for this excellent service.
