I wish I could give this beautifully located and newly built medical facility a higher rating, but I feel compelled to share my less than pleasant story about my experience here. In short I was prescribed a drug I had told them I was allergic to and spent half my day resolving the issue I had originally set out to solve. Despite being the first person to show up when they opened at 8AM I had to wait 45 minutes after being seen by a PA. This making the total time spent here >1hr. Upon arrival I filled out the necessary check-in forms and specified that I was allergic to Amoxicillin. Thereafter, I met with a PA who took my BP and asked me if I was allergic to anything to which I responded, "Amoxicillin." Until this office opened, I had no care: I have multi-system diseases and the Medicaid care provider in Summit dismissed and ignored for 23 yrs before Vail Health & Colorado Mountain Medical. Went from being gaslit to finally having diagnosis, treatment, and a compassionate care team who takes the time to learn about the illnesses I live with so they can help me live my best life. I recommend all of the Vail Health "Family": Colorado Mountain Medical, Vail Health, Steadman Clinic, and Howard Head. One of the worst urgent cares i have ever seen in my life. Ended up with Mallet Deformity due to negligence of the doctors. The doctors and nurses lack experience and expertise, they all looked out of college, the hospital is on cost cutting by using inexperienced staff, took 3.5 hours to dress my wound to my finger and then missed on a critical care for the finger ending up with mallet deformity and took months to recover with my orthopedic.

Visited at 1/25/26 at 3:40 pm and was promptly told “we close at four” and sent to the ER because they could be bothered to finish their work day.

Quick appointment for an xray on my knee, which I hurt skiing the day before. 2 other people in clinic at the time, took about 10 minutes to be admitted, 10 minutes to get the X-ray and 10 minutes for the assessment by a PA. I’m happy with my care and the staff was very kind and patient. Would recommend
