Dignity Health – Mercy Medical Center

I just had my baby at Mercy last week. I had a great experience, the labor and delivery nurses were so sweet and really helped make my experience wonderful. I felt heard and taken care of, they made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Even after having my baby the nurses were always making sure I was taken care of and I really appreciated that. I would definitely recommend Mercy as the place to have your baby. Thank you labor and delivery! I will never forget the nurses that helped me, and of course Dr. Johnston!

A Health Hazard Disguised as a Hospital This was my first and only experience with Mercy Hospital under Dignity Health, and I can say without exaggeration that I would prefer to go to an unlicensed facility before returning here. My 75-year-old relative was admitted to the emergency department due to a mental health crisis. What we encountered was appalling: the room was filthy, littered with trash, floors unmopped, no bedding, walls stained, and an overwhelming stench filled the air. This was not an isolated issue--both rooms we were moved through were in similarly unsanitary condition. I came in an ambulance kinda scared, it was busy in the ER. I received a text almost immediately saying welcome to Mercy Medical. Right then I felt embraced! Tell you what I adore your commercials about human kindness, it’s real ☮️💜🙏🏾

The first visit is to inform you how to do you check in. Then going forward it had 6 weeks of radiation treatment everyday. Everyone in that department was exceptional. Explained my process and what to expect. And how to treat the area being treated. Very friendly compassionate understanding and helpful and trustworthy and uplifting. I was treated with the utmost respect and kindness.

Dr. BOWLES was great once he got to see me. It was quite a wait but it worked out. Blaire from the nightshift was amazing. She was informative helpful and took care of me better than I had been all night. She made my difficult situation tolerable with her great attitude and personality.
