Dignity Health - Community Hospital of San Bernardino

The doctors were kind, caring, and generous. The staff was attentive. But here are my complaints. No shower/sponge bath for 11 days. The food was awful as all hospital food is. I only talked to a person once in 11 days. (Dietary) PT/OT didn’t come until about8 days and PT on day 11. My primary doctor prescribed oxygen but the PT counter mandated it. No one would listen. San Bernadino is at an elevation of about 1150 feet. I live at 6000 feet. My oxygen demands are greater at higher altitude. My other complaint was that I had had an accident and needed to be cleaned up. It took 45 minutes with me lying in my own excrement. Not good… Here is a picture of cream of wheat. Really?

My experience was very good. I was taken in immediately and seen and discharged and 30 minutes. I will always come back to Community hospital in San Bernardino. Great customer service with excellence and very prompt expedited service as well.

My experience during my stay at Community was pleasant. I was comfortable and had good food to eat! I never knew there were so many tests that could be run! Everyone was kind, considerate, and helpful. My thanks to everyone there!

I truly want to thank my incredible L&D nurses Angela (NOC), Belinda (I hope I got her name right), Marquitta (hopefully spelled correctly), and Abby, who took over after Angela left. My stay would not have been nearly as amazing without these wonderful women. Hands down the best experience I’ve ever had. So grateful for each of them. ❤️ ( I hope I didn’t forget anyone ) .

Had a great experience here after a major surgery. Joana and Anh on 5th floor, really phenomenal nurses!, I was a grump but they were simply unfazed. Showed me kindness and didn’t treat me like another number. Thank you! Shoutout to DR. Jain also ,this surgeon is unmatched.
