Digestive Associates

Getting someone on the phone is difficult enough already. My first appointment today was disappointing. The doctor appeared to be in a bad mood and seemed uninterested. As a patient, that was quite concerning. I cancelled my next appointment.

Doctors are great but telephone people are horrible. They don’t listen. They are programmed like a computer. They promise to call back but never call. The man is rude and dictatorial , His way or the highway.

Arrived at 645am. Check in was busy and waiting room was very full. Found a place to sit and wait to be called. Paperwork was completed days before appointment. Most other patients did not complete the necessary paperwork ahead of time so there was much confusion. Appointment was scheduled for 8am. Was called back at 840am. In the surgical center, nurses were very pleasant and professional as they explained what they were doing during preparation. During the wait, Nurses were professional with other patients and attentive to their needs. The needs of each patient in the prep room was well organized.

I had a botched colonoscopy last year, and will never see this doctor again. I needed my medical records to see a new gastroenterologist this week, but Digestive Associates won't return my calls. I've been calling daily for a week, and was just turned away by my new doctor because I didn't have the medical records from Digestive Associates. This office's inefficiency has cost me time and money, and also my medical well-being. How difficult is it to call somebody back?! How difficult is it to print out my brief medical records from 10 months ago?! Apparently very difficult for this office! UPDATE 8/4: I've called the office as instructed ... TWICE now. I'm very upset with this place I had 2 procedure done and they found something in my stomach and had to do a biopsy and I was going to be late to my appointment and they told me that if I was 10 min late I would have to reschedule well I told them to reschedule cause a emergency came up and that's why I was late the front desk told me they couldn't get me in until March and that was a long time and I needed to get my results from the biopsy so I was very upset they were not going to give me my results in 4 months how could they make me wait that long so I had to call my primary Dr to get those results and they can't get me in until January 25, 2026 so I wont know nothing until then so yes I'm upset how can they make me wait that long for news like that so I wouldn't refer anyone there.
