Diabetes and Endocrinology - Hartford

The staff at this facility are incredible! I’ve been chronically ill for many years and have encountered all types of providers in all settings, but I have rarely encountered such competent, caring professionals as Dr. Champagne and Office Manager Lynn. I have also only had positive encounters with the other medical and administrative staff. Being ill is terrible so when you are helped by amazing people it really means a lot. Thank you!!

30 minutes before my telehealth visit, someone at the office advised me that there could be a problem with my appointment. She promised that I would get a return phone call in the next 15 minutes. That call never came. I called the provider and found out that, since I was in another state She was not licensed in, we could not have the visit. I totally understand the providers situation. What I don’t understand. Is why I never got the call that I was promised. I think the provider is handling my case management very well. I also think that Office staff should be held accountable for the error and not calling me back.

This office is a joke. I called to schedule an appointment and was told they received my referral but it wasn’t transcribed. That’s laziness period. It takes 2 minutes to copy a referral into a chart and 1 minute to schedule . Please train your BSR so unprofessional!

Not pleased with the care provided to me. Ms. Grace Stanes was my provider and she was very unhelpful. My symptoms have worsened under her care. Additionally I needed medical supplies and she refused to provide a prior authorization so I’d be able to receive them. She was extremely inconsiderate to me.

The lady Grace has a way of train wrecking your conversation. If you truly want to be heard in how you feel without being interrupted go somewhere else. These people will act like you’re not entitled to express your personal experience. If you need any medicine pre authorized. Ask God himself. The diabetes center will take their time and risk you getting sick.
