DeTar Hospital Navarro - Emergency Room

I was seen in a timely manner, and the Nurse Practitioner who ended up taking care of me and giving me stitches was incredible! She was kind, and very knowledgeable! She did an amazing job keeping me calm and making sure I was comfortable, thank you Mrs Bennett! The only reason I don’t give this a 5 out of 5 is because the lady at registration was rude. She did not seem caring, or in any way to have sympathy, especially in a hospital setting where you would think one would be more kind.

had a really great experience here at the Detar ER. I had never been before and the wait time to get checked in and to be seen was not very long. I just felt like the wait time in the room was kind of the longest me and my boyfriend were there probably for about 4 hours. and most of that time was spent in the room. but other than that, it was a really good experience. The two doctors that saw me were both very nice and professional, as well as the assistants! i would definitely recommend coming to this ER versus citizens ER.

My ER visit was absolutely amazing! Dr. Todd Francis provide a more aggressive treatment than my Nextcare visit two days prior. Therefore, I experienced massive relief in a fairly short time! The nurse also explained how to maximize the heat compresses and THAT has proven "spot on" every time I've used it since my ER visit.

Went in under VA emergency care for a hand issue that was bothering me for about a month. The staff was professional and executed flawlessly, before I finished signing the paperwork, the nurse was already calling me into the back. When she walked me to the room the Dr was already awaiting by the door to start the assessment. Determined a root cause and ordered Radiology and a steroidal shot. I was also impressed how I didn't have to leave my room, XRAYS and medicine all came to me as the patient promptly after request and getting discharged happened soon after. Christus Spohn in Corpus Christi could never Total time I feel like was only an hour and a half from start to finish, any other experience at other ERs last about 4 hours plus. I recently had a visit to DeTar ER and I cannot brag enough on the outstanding care I received. I’m thankful for the doctor and nurse as they took their time to make sure I was well taken care of and it was greatly appreciated.
