Thank you to each and every member who helped me with my outpatient procedure on Friday. Very helpful, informative and professional throughout. The hospital was very clean and orderly and my husband loved the cafeteria. He thoroughly enjoyed his breakfast while waiting. Thanks again.

I recently visited the ER. I was expecting a long wait, but this was the quickest visit I've ever had. Jacob, my nurse was very friendly and personable, as well as Alissa who did my x-ray. So far the meds Dr Pita prescribed have been working. Thank you all!!💕💕

The community truly needs this hospital — without an ER here, people would suffer. That said, DO NOT go to DMH without an advocate! If you’re caring for someone, be their voice and their record keeper. Write everything down: every symptom, medication, dosage, and vital sign. Note how fast the IV is dripping. Sign up for the patient portal immediately and check it often for test results. Be proactive — when new results post, call the doctor in right away. Advocates: • Keep a running list of all lab work, scans, and medications. • Ask questions — all of them. • Don’t worry about being a “pain.” You’re there to protect someone who can’t always protect themselves. The worst. Gas lighted about staffing levels and available beds with an empty parking lot. Basically, sit on this uncomfortable cot until next shift so we don't have to bother the staffing manager. ER staffed for an ongoing crisis all sitting around and occasionally checks the 3 patients. Answering call light with speed because timing is monitored. Most important to turn it off than deal with the patient. So many repetitive lab draws (plebotomist was good), labs don't change so dramatically in an hour with few exceptions. Diagnosis changed with them. 5 to 7 day IV started which would have required them to actually admit me for those days. Ah. No beds, no staff, sit here another 5 hours. Asked for a summary so I could go to port charlote or Sarasota....crickets. After my l

We had to go to the ER, at lunchtime. We thought we'd be there forever. We were pleasantly surprised how quick and efficient all the nurses and doctors treated my husband. We were done in an hour. Clean hospital. We appreciate their efficiency.
