Desert Willow Pediatrics - Dr. Joy Peskin

Looooove my kids pediatrician as she was mine as well when i relocated here at 12 years of age. I’ve known both the nurse and receptionist for that long too and they have always made me and my kids (siblings too) feel so welcome! It always feels like family when we have appointments 💕

somewhere in october she touched me without my consent MULTIPLE TIMES and she was shocked when i kept aggressively pushing her away and telling her to stop . she saw my SH scars and fresh scars and kept grabbing and pulling my arm to see them but told her to stop and i was uncomfortable but she didnt . she kept talking to my guardian instead of me for consent for a nasal flu medicine even though i was the one getting it . a few days later i got the flu and it felt as bad as getting the norovirus that i had twice months before this dumb stuff . ive been sa'd many times before and sexually harrassed almost every day ... just because im a minor doesnt mean i cant consent ... i think about how my dignity was taken from me every single day and pts from it .

Dr. Peskin has been our family pediatrician for almost 25 years. She took care of my 5 children and now my grandchildren. We would never go anywhere else, and we trust her completely. She is amazing!

My two children have seen Dr. Peskin for over 15 years. She has always been helpful, very willing to listen and responds in a timely manner. Her office staff have been professional and also will respond timely. We have had difficulty finding a new Doctor for my 21 yo son with Autism. She has willingly agreed to care for him until we find someone new. God Bless Dr. Peskin!

This has the worst pediatrician I have ever been to. Treating specialized children like everybody else and unwilling to listen. I do not recommend seeing this Doctor. Treating irregular symptoms like a normal child is not okay. Laughing behind the parents back is not professional and not okay.
