My daughter started receiving services here in 2019 when she was three. She was barely speaking more than one word. Amanda uses play based strategies to help children learn to speak and is flexible with the child. If my daughter wasn't engaged in the planned activity, she followed her interests so that she would have a positive learning experience. My daughter loved coming to her office every week. After almost two years of therapy my daughter is now caught up and able to express herself in an age appropriate manner. Desert Blossom was always easy to reach if there was a need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, or if I had any questions. If you are looking for speech services Desert Blossom is the place to go!

My son went to Miss Amanda for his speech delay. We started off on zoom during the pandemic and then we moved to in person. She was wonderful. She is very patient and he responded well to her. He loved his Thursday appointments so much and made huge progress. Nathan, the receptionist, was so incredibly helpful, always just a text message away. I really can't say enough good things about this practice! My son "graduated" a few weeks ago and is still asking me when we see Miss Amanda next. I used TMC for speech for my other son and was not nearly as happy with them, even though the drive was further for us, it was well worth it. Choose Desert Blossom!

Desert Blossom did an amazing job with my daughter. We moved to this area mid-therapy. Desert Blossom did a great job assessing my daughter's needs and transitioning her to a new program. And, they did this all via virtual media. After 16 months of speech therapy, she was able to progress to such a place that she no longer needs therapy assistance. I would highly recommend this office.

I’m so glad we found her. She’s so fun and patient. My son loved his appointments with “Ms Amanda”. On days when he was feeling grumpy and didn’t want to go, he’d end up not wanting to leave her office once our time was up :) If i had any questions she was very forthcoming with information. Her methods brought him up to speed very quickly. He was severely delayed and brought to normal in about 6 months and graduated in 9 months. Nathan, who does the scheduling is so incredibly kind. Overall great experience. If you’re looking for speech services for you child, This is where you want them!

I can not describe how blessed we were to experience Desert Blossom in our journey for speech. My son was non-verbal to now starting word approximations and saying actual words and speaking. We still have a way to go but our time at Desert Blossom will not be discredited. Miss Sarah is an amazing SLP and so good with kids!! You will not ever regret bringing your child to such a humble establishment. The Best thing, THEY ARE ACTUAL SLP's working with your kiddo! Not an SLPA, not to say they are not good at their job, but I personally prefer someone who went the extra mile to get their degree and further their knowledge in working with children in the speech language world.
