Visited 3 times with no results, put on 3 RX’s still nothing. Dr. Karen Maffei didn’t ask any questions about products I use on my face, medications or supplements. Didn’t listen to my concerns and kept pushing me on very expensive topical creams. Would not recommend her.

This is a wonderful facility. The staff is friendly, experienced, and knowledable. After going to several other dermatology goups, my skin issues were finally correctly diagnosed and resolved here. I highly recommend Athens Dermatology Group.

This dermatologist came highly recommended so I was excited for this appointment. It took a month to get a new patient appointment, but heard it was worth the wait. I followed all instructions with paperwork, and copies, as well as arriving 15 minutes before my appointment so my paperwork would be entered to be seen at a 9:30. There were 3 people in the lobby when I arrived. I took a seat and waited. Those 3 people were called back. 2 more people arrive, they too were called back. 3 other people arrived-they also are called back. Everyone was taken back within 5-6 minutes of arrival which is impressive. However after 45 minutes of waiting, one of the first people who were taken back came out, looked at me and said “you are still waiting?” . So, I went to the front and asked for my copay to

Have been a Maffei patient for years. Both Doctors are kind, caring and quickly relieve any anxieties. The staff is also supportive and makes you feel at ease. I’m thankful I discovered this office years ago.

Practice has recently changed ownership. A simple office visit that was $75 dollars before the change is now $180. Care has always been good but with the increased pricing I will be seeking more affordable services.
