Two times this week I attempted to call, was asked if I was ok being put on hold.., to which i agreed to & was hung up on shortly thereafter (w no call back) both times lol. Made appt elsewhere

Everything was great from check in with Skye to my visit with Dr. Rovner. The office staff was super nice. I have lived all over the US and I can say that Des Moines is lucky to have such a great group of providers here. There will be a wait at any good physician's office. If there is no wait, there is probably a reason. I simply had a precancer treated when I came in, but I realize the person in front of me could have had a much more serious diagnosis, so I understand that good physicians who take their time with cancer patients and don't rush in and out can easily get behind. It's just the nature of the business. I am perfectly fine waiting a little bit longer to see someone here (although I didn't have a wait at all, I am just addressing other prior reviews). Been going here for a year so and been here probably a handful of times and I've had a solid experience so far. Staff has been good, knows what they are doing and have taken good care of it. The staff is sometimes a little standoffish and could be more proactive sometimes, but as long as you make sure to bring things up and ask questions they do great. I haven't had any billing issues and any work I've had done has been handled without any trouble from a financial perspective. I've been able to get appointments scheduled quickly and at a variety of times so big plus there.

It has healed now, and I’m extremely pleased. I think it needs another round, and I also wanted to thank you for your kindness. Office and staff were very kind and professional. The biopsy procedure and after-care were explained clearly. I would have given 5 stars, but I never got a call with my biopsy results. I was told 1 to 3 weeks for results. I kept checking my patient portal and no results have ever been posted there. After nearly 5 weeks, I called the office to inquire about my results. They got a nurse on the phone and she gave me my results and asked how I was doing, etc. It would have been nice to get a call or an update on my patient portal about my results. It was nerve wracking waiting for the cancer / no cancer diagnosis.
