Dermatology Associates Venice

My wife had a suspicious growth on her arm so we went to her primary. She was immediately refereed to your office. The person I talked to at the Sarasota office was snotty as soon as she found out my wife was a new patient. My primary said she had to be seen ASAP. I was told that since she was a new patient, even though were openings, she couldn't be seen for 5 weeks! Once we got into the Venice office the biopsy was taken and a week later we had the results. It was a melanoma that needed to be removed as fast as we could. Her insurance approved everything the same day your office sent it. That was February 17. We were even told that maybe they could do it the next day. The Venice office told me that everything had been submitted to Sarasota on the 17th also. The Sarasota offic

Dr spent less than 5 minutes with me. Seemed to be in a hurry. Scanning my back with a light and very quick exam didn't meet the full body skin exam that I was expecting. Did not examine any moles closely at all.

Not Happy. They thought I was here for my yearly check up. Yet, last month November 2025 was my yearly which at that time I was prescribed a chemotherapy cream for my face with directions for use to see if there was any cancer/pre cancerous cells. I had a follow up appt today 12/29/25. Maria checked me in and Natalie was Dr. The medical asst had NO clue why i was there except for my yearly that I did last month. Natalie then came in and asked why I was here. I showed pictures of my results from my the 2 week chemotherapy creme treatment and she said. Ok. it worked. And if you want to do another treatment thats up to you but I will see you in a year. Then checking out Maria was on her personal phone while I was trying to check out. And didn't realize I was standing right in front of her. N

Staff is pleasant. Natalie, the PA, was excellent and provided the time, knowledge, and patience to answer all my questions

Very pleased with assessment of moles,warts and skin tags. Felt comfortable with all staff. Answered ALL my questions. Offered suggestions on different over the counter products to help with occasional issues. Thank you.
