Dermatology Associates of Ithaca

I’ve been a patient for years and have always been more than satisfied with them. But yesterday’s appointment seemed different. It was very fast. A little too fast for me. I had very little time to interact with the doctor about different issues. Hopefully things will slow down next time.

It was my first appointment there, and everyone was friendly, helpful, and efficient. My doctor (Kathryn) was excellent, and gave my problem a careful, patient examination, and recommended a good plan going forward. I'll definitely be making a follow-up visit.

The doctor is thorough and very kind.She receives a high rating from me. However, the rushed atmosphere and extreme efficiency of the visit were off-putting. The staff member who initially prepared me for the checkup spoke SO rapidly & failed to make eye contact. Being a routine checkup made it OK, but if I had a skin issue, the impersonal treatment would have been hard to receive . I felt rushed and like I was on an assembly line from the checkup call when I was in the parking lot through the medical check… thankfully the scheduling staff member was delightful and took time to be personable.She gets a 5+ rating!

The office is very nice and clean. Everything was easy and smooth. The team and doctor were friendly and professional. The appointment went very quick! Get your skin checked! ☀️

My experience was positive. Dr. Thompson offered clear & thorough information. Treatment (& non-treatment) information was explained well. Staff is friendly. Office environment & art is beautiful. Check-in, exam & check-out were timely. Thank you!
