Dermatology Associates of FCM

Saw Dr. Howard years ago and I did not feel like I was given the appropriate attention. I have adult acne and explained I had been on an antibiotic for years and it did nothing. He insisted I go on it again after being shocked I was on it for years. He also tried to upsell me on their in house esthetician services which were (obviously) not covered by insurance and very, very expensive. I did not return.

I’m writing because I saw a younger PA who prescribed me Skyrizi for my psoriasis. I was told the medication would cost me $5 co pay. I had a terrible reaction to it. So I’m no longer taking it. The pharmacy they referred me to Accredo has threatened to bring my $8,755.00 medication cost to legal. They tried to charge my credit card they kept on file again after I told them 3 times I’m not taking the medication. This is the second time I’ve had a doctor, pharmacy, insurance, not talking to each other so I’m aware of everyone pasding off responsibility. I confirmed multiple times with all agencies before accepting the medication that it would be covered. Please be warned about this medication and the pharmacy they recommend. It’s a big mess.

The office was clean, but I was not impressed by the care I was given at Dermatology Associates of FCM. The woman at the front desk was very nice and friendly, unfortunately I did not feel the same warmth with Michelle. I came in with a rash and wanting to find out what was going on. I started to explain to Michelle what was going on, and instead of listening and letting me finish she went about looking at areas of my skin that were not of a concern to me. She knew right away what I was experiencing, despite only spending 5 minutes with me. She then prescribed a cream and some over the counter medicine for an allergic reaction I am having to SOMETHING - no idea what... . I have never been allergic to anything in my life, and it is very scary to think that I could possibly develop a deadly

I used to have bad acne and they really helped. After a while my self esteem became better :) I highly recommend this dermatologist I feel comfortable in my own skin now.

Yes, a great experience today! The young lady at the reception desk makes you feel at home. The doctor was great and comforting, thank you!
