Went for an annual skin check up. Was charged $210 for a “botox consultation” for asking a quick question about a wrinkle???? Room was unsanitary. Waited 45 minutes for her to do a very quick look over on my skin. Have seen other dermatologists in the past who were much more thorough with their yearly exams. Had no idea they’d charge me $210 for a question about a wrinkle. Absolutely awful experience. Highly disappointed. Will never return.

I paid $97 to be seen for 5 minutes, 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. As I waited, I thought, these doctors must spend time with their patients, answering questions and providing advice. I was incorrect. If the doctor I saw only spends 5 minutes in the room (and doesn't even get close enough to really look at your skin), why was the wait so long? Why did I pay $97 for this? Never going back. Pictured is the scrap of paper I received from this appointment. Every other health professional I have seen has at least printed advice or sent a document via patient portal. This scrap is not professional. I was clearly not a priority for this team.

I am writing to share my recent experience as a first-time patient. I was referred to Dr Serrao by two friends. When I arrived, the (three) front desk staff did not greet me, I felt like I was a bothering them. My appointment with Dr. Serrao felt ofd. I can't really explain it. I had never met her before.A skin check was performed, a few spots were treated with freezing, and a cream was prescribed for an itchy rash on my chest. After a week, the prescribed cream was not helping, so I called and left a voicemail. I later received a return call from someone who did not identify themselves. Believing I was speaking with a nurse or front desk staff, I explained the situation. The caller then recommended I return for a biopsy, which I agreed to and scheduled an appointment. Great choice for dermatologist! Pick Abby Sipe. She is the best. Our whole family likes her. She is easy to talk to, and she listens to us well. And the staff at the Mason office is delightful.
