Derby Dental Care

This was my first appointment at Derby dental care. My hygienist Ashleigh was the best. Her cleaning was very thorough, and we visited the entire time. I made sure and requested her for my next visit in six months. The dentist was also very polite and answered all my questions. So glad I found Derby dental care.

I've been going to Derby Dental for several years and Dr. Schmalz has been great. Dr. S is friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and uses common sense to provide treatment. When Dr. S suggests that I have a procedure done he explains why it needs to be done and listens to my concerns also. I'm very happy with Dr. S and I hope he stays with Derby Dental until he retires. I would trust Dr. S to watch my house and dog. I'm willing to bet money that Dr. S is the type of guy that if he were to borrow something from you, that he would bring it back to you in better condition than what you gave it to him. I booked my appointment through the website, which was extremely user-friendly and made the process quick and easy. I was able to get in very fast, which was especially wonderful since I had a broken tooth. Check-in was quick, efficient, and seamless. Once I was taken back, everything was explained thoroughly and clearly so I knew exactly what to expect. We ultimately decided to pull the tooth, which initially made me nervous, but the staff immediately put me at ease and made me feel calm and confident every step of the way. The numbing process was done patiently and efficiently, and once I was fully numb, the tooth was removed so gently that I barely felt any pressure and experienced absolutely no pain. Considering it was a wisdom tooth, I expected discomfort, but there truly was none.

I hadn't been to the dentist in 10 years. I made an appointment for a cleaning only. The were kind, and professional. They made me feel super comfortable. Dr. McDaniel is exceptional! Went in for a cleaning, they were able to schedule me for an additional appointment and ended up having to have a back tooth fixed. Would highly recommend this dental office to anyone looking for a new dentist!

Wichita Family is a place I recommend to anyone who asks me about ortho services and dental work. I had my ortho done with them and then did such an amazing job creating the smile I’ve always wanted. They are also awesome in the cleanings as well. It’s nice to have all of the work done in one place instead of having to have a dentist and then an ortho separately. I recommend for both!
