Dentistry for Children - Stone Mountain

While the staff is extremely nice, I can't help but be completely frustrated at their inability to maintain their appointment times. Please know you're going to be there two hours or more. They don't even call your name to the back until at least one hour after your appointment. I understand for most doctors and dentist offices there is a wait time, but waiting an entire hour in the waiting room is ridiculous. My child's appointment today was for 10:30, yet I'm here making this review in the waiting room at 11:20 and have to be to work at 12:30. I honestly enjoyed my son’s experience as a new patient of this facility. Shakari (Shakira) was extremely kind, patient and caring during my son’s appointment. She was very attentive to my questions and ensured Dr. Brown was aware of all my concerns. I did not get the office manager name however she too was amazing (as well as all of the ladies at the front desk). This was truly a great experience and I wish I would have found them earlier in my son’s life.

I truly love Dentistry for Children. The hygienists are always so sweet and patient with both the kids and the parents. They answer any questions I have respectfully and make my children feel comfortable. Dr. Brown is also amazing with everyone. I have been coming here for years and have always received great care from the everyone. However, ever since the office moved locations, checking out, getting the proper documents, and scheduling the next appointment has become very difficult. The front desk experience has been disappointing. On multiple visits, we’ve been ignored about 30 to 45 mins while waiting for assistance even when it’s clear I’m there with four children, including a two-year-old who understandably gets impatient. It’s frustrating because this seems to happen at every visit

I love the work, but absolutely despise the wait times! This is the 2nd time I waited in the lobby for an hour just to be seen. I don't understand why you would book so many people for a time slot knowing you don't have the accommodations for it. Please do better! The work is amazing, the staff is super friendly and the new building is super cute.

Ever since I moved in this area, I have been taking my kids here. It is a great experience every time. The staff is very friendly, very helpful, and makes the experience for the kids as fun as a dentist can be. Special shout out to Ms.Kat for being very understanding with my hectic schedule but making sure I get the help I need in a timely manner. I appreciate the whole team.
