Dental Specialties Of NY

Had to come back 3 times altogether to finally have my husband's procedure done and I live in Connecticut. If history was so important, why didn't the dentist look at that first to make sure he had the blood work, etc. that he required. Didn't have the right specialist to do the job the 1st visit and 2nd visit, they wanted recent blood work and doctor authorization to proceed with the procedure. I didn't think he knew what he was doing. Third visit went well. That dentist was good so maybe it was a blessing the first two didn't do the work.

I have been waiting for 30min for my 1:30pm appointment. When askes how much longer, receptionist tells me that I have 4 people ahead of me for a root canal. I decided to read the reviews and this is consistent here when coming for a root canal. So if that is what you are coming for ask your dentist to refer you somewhere else. I will update this with the time I was seen and any other details. I was seen 3 and a half hrs later. Horrible experience. To bad I can't give zero stars.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had such a great experience at this office, and a big part of that was thanks to Sebastian at the front desk. From the moment I walked in, he was welcoming, professional, and very attentive. He made the check-in process quick and easy, explained everything clearly, and went out of his way to make sure I felt comfortable. Sebastian was also very patient in answering my questions about scheduling and insurance, which made the whole visit so much smoother. It’s rare to find someone who combines professionalism with genuine kindness, but Sebastian does exactly that. He’s a real asset to the office and made my visit a positive one from start to finish!

Horrible information. Just tries to squeeze money out of your insurance and if not approved by insurance charges you. I came in for a wisdom tooth extraction which dental specialties said they could not do without a bone graft for some odd reason. When i asked why they said because in the x ray the tooth was too close to the nerve. My insurance didn’t cover that and they refused to do a removal without the bone graft procedure. I got the tooth removed somewhere else and they did not even mention a bone graft. When i brought it up to this specific dentist that removed it they said no that i didn’t need a bone graft and to refuse to do a extraction without one is crazy. The transition between each part of my visit was very smooth, and I always felt supported. I came in with a lot of anxiety about having the work done, but the team made sure I was comfortable and reassured throughout the process. Their patience and attentiveness really helped ease my nerves.
