My dentist recently retired and I was nervous about finding a new one. Wow! All my worries are now gone since visiting Dental Care Acworth. The scheduling and ppwk was simple. The staff was friendly and professional. All the latest technology, tools and equipment were available for me. Special thanks to the assistant Mayra. She guided me through all the procedures and meetings with the hygienist and doctor. She is very sweet and kind. Thank you!

My recent appointment was a very positive experience. While I've been to this office many times, this was my first occasion meeting Dhara who did my cleaning. She is very kind, funny, and personable. She calmly and clearly explained my treatment plan along with the associated costs. Dhara even gave me toothbrush recommendations and did a great job at easing my nerves and making me feel very comfortable. She is very professional, efficient, and answered all of my questions. I’d been a patient here for several years and previously had very positive experiences. However, at my last visit a few months ago, I had a new hygienist whose tone felt unnecessarily critical, followed by a dentist who focused heavily on recommending multiple additional services in a way that felt more sales-driven than patient-focused. That experience gave me pause, but I decided to give the practice a second chance. When I returned for a 3:00 appointment, I waited 25 minutes past my scheduled time with no communication, and was then told it could be another 15–20 minutes. At that point, combined with the earlier experience, I decided this practice was no longer the right fit for me and left. I won’t be returning.
