DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!! I don't even know where to start about how bad this place is. The food was awful. The rooms were dingy, dirty, and had broken furniture. But worst of all was the lack of care. I had to fight tooth and nail for even the basics like a shower for my mom. You would ring the bell for assistance and sometimes have to wait 45-60 minutes for a staff person to show up with an attitude that you clearly were bothering them. OT/PT staff were good but the level of rudeness and apathy overall was astounding. My mom was there for rehab and left in the back of an ambulance and ended up in ICU from infections. This place should be shut down.

Delmar Place is a clean, warm, welcoming rehab facility with people who care about you & your health progress. If you need something, ask for it & if possible, it will be done. Yoni, the Facility Administrator, is on top of every program to be sure each manager is providing the best care according to New York State regulations. You can be assured your questions are answered. Your requests, if allowed by law, will be fulfilled. The staff will do their best to make you comfortable. Whether you are here for a short-term rehab stay or a longer-term maintenance stay, your care & well-being are of the utmost importance to the management & staff at Delmar Place.

Be prepared for a long review....2 quick jumping off points, *the posted pictures look nothing like the day to day operations of the rehab and secondly, *the one good thing I can say about the center is the PT / OT. They work extremely hard for very little money and take care of a lot of people! And do not nearly enough respect!! *Now, the food is often cold and what's on the menu, isn't on your plate! Even after you talk to the nutritionist! *You have to beg for 2 pillows on your bed and you can't even sleep on the uncomfortable cots because staff is coming in and out all night!! *Many times I thought they were giving me more meds than I needed just to jack up the Medicaid bill!! *Many young untrained staff are busy on their phones rather than take of the patients. *The activities listed

I was greeted by the friendliest, most welcoming young woman I’ve met in awhile. She opened the doors for me, helped me check in and out, and was very pleasant in all my interactions with her. Well done.

I wanna thank the entire therapy team for helping me get back on my feet I'm very grateful. I wanna thank all the nurses on my unit for always going the extra mile, especially Coty. Last but certainly not least I wanna thank the activity dept. I'm gonna miss my girls beyonds words. Thank you for everybody who have met at my stay at delmar center you guys are awesome.
