Deer Ridge Memory Care Community

Deer Ridge was home to my Mom for 4 years. It is heart breaking to put your Mom in memory care but knowing she was treated with respect, dignity, compassion and love made it easier. The common areas were very, very clean, tidy and provided a homey, warm atmosphere. The staff was always friendly, caring and really lovely people who treated Mom as family. I highly recommend Deer Ridge for your loved one -- you will find no better place.

Deer Ridge was one of three quality memory care facilities I toured prior to determining the very best residential facility for my 80 year old husband struggling with advanced stages of Alzheimer's. The initial interview/assessment meeting with the administrators was excellent! Shawn Brooks, Executive Director, and Jennifer Melville, Director of Community Relations, were most patient responding to my many questions/concerns and thorough with regard to the essential information regarding the care and services provided by the staff. Deer Ridge was the best decision we made for Mom. From the first phone call inquiring about their facility, I felt like a family member already! Jennifer was so friendly, welcoming and genuinely cared about us before we even met. She came in on her day off (Saturday) to meet w/a few family members to tour the facility and answer any questions we had. She greets everyone with a smile always!
